How I became a physio

As a sporty science nerd, a career in physio was a natural choice…

The reason I am still loving it after 25 years is that I get to see, almost daily, my clients experience those ‘light bulb’ moments, when they overcome their injuries or doubts and re-discover their bodies.

It’s terrifically rewarding to watch, and it’s a two-way learning experience.

Playing professional AFL taught me both how resilient the human body is and also how frustrating injury can be.
